I didn't make it out to the community garden on Tuesday night, so when I went out to water last night, I was amazed at how much color there suddenly is in the garden (I love it when gardens do that this time of year!). Orange pumpkins, golden sunflowers, red peppers, hot pink amaranth... but of course this is the one color that makes me most happy right now. I felt like doing a little happy dance as I walked up to the garden to see tomatoes that were green just a couple of days ago, on fire in the evening sunlight in shades of yellow, orange, and red.
