While the garden gnome comes in handy for estimating how much snow fell last night, I still much prefer to use him to measure the growth of the sugar snap peas. Spring has to be just around the corner, right?
Oh I do like the idea of using a garden gnome to measure the height of anything - perhaps I should but one in our chicken shed to track their growth against.
