These past few days have been busy and productive evenings in the garden! My brother came up on Tuesday night to help me expand the "sandbox garden" and haul in a bunch of compost, and last night I worked on amending the soil in my garden beds with the compost, and I even got the first few vegetables planted directly in the gardens for the year!
It feels incredible to get so much done! The only drawback has been that coming in from the garden after dark, full of dirt, and exhausted hasn't left much time to post on these projects. I'm looking forward to catching up over the weekend and giving you all the dirty details next week. In the meantime, here are a few photos of the onion and shallot sets I planted last night. I just love the colors; a taste of what's to come later this summer!
