February Frost

I love waking up to find the entire landscape coated in a delicate layer of frost.  I find it so incredibly fascinating and beautiful - to me it's even better than waking up to a fresh coating of snow.  Frost has a life of its own.  It makes you look at ordinary things differently by drawing attention to the intricate details of its host.  I'm definitely still learning how to photograph frost.  The perfectionist in me gets frustrated when the images I pulled off the camera didn't quite capture it just right, but with enough images to choose from, there are always a few worth sharing:
