Eye Candy

I finally succumbed to the nasty head cold I have been fighting off all week.  There are much better circumstances under which I would like to spend a cold Friday in my pajamas watching some highly stimulating television (okay, it was episodes of "Hoarders" and "Storage Wars"), but at least it gave me a chance to work on narrowing down my garden plans in between naps and doses of cough syrup.  It also gave me the opportunity to drool over my new favorite seed catalog from Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds.

This catalog mysteriously arrived in the mail a few weeks ago and it is the most stunning seed catalog I have ever seen: page after page of huge, vibrant pictures of beautiful heirloom vegetables. There are 30 pages of heirloom tomatoes!  Unlike the rest of my catalog stack, I can't bring myself to circle anything in this catalog.  I feel like it's a book of artwork that I should be displaying on my coffee table or something.  I know it's totally lame to post a photo of photos, but I just want to give you a glimpse of how lovely this catalog is:

Oh, and they have a magazine, too.  Hmm, I wonder if it's too late to give Mike a few not so subtle hints for Valentine's Day? Or maybe a road trip to Missouri could be in our future?
