June Bug

I found this little guy while checking out the new blossoms on the daylilies early Saturday morning.  Coincidentally, my brother also found a ladybug the night before when we were checking out his garden on the farm and commented on how rare it is to see a REAL ladybug these days (as opposed to the Asian beetles that are everywhere).  When we were growing up on the farm, we used to find nests of ladybugs all over the place (especially around the base of the huge maple tree in the middle of the yard).  I sure hope this little guy has a nest of buddies somewhere in the neighborhood.
